DB Corey Ivy Released; Anthony Madison

December 2nd, 2009 | by Matt Loede |

The Corey Ivy era is over, as today the Steelers placed the veteran db and special-teamer on waivers. His tenure lasted all of a week with the club. The Steelers though quickly filled the spot as they were awarded defensive back Anthony Madison off waivers from the Colts. Madison, a former Alabama player, was with the Steelers previously before being released and bouncing around the league.

    To Whom it may concern:

How is it possible to contact Anthony Madison? His mother is my sister (she was raised by foster parents) and it is important to find out whether we are related. Our mother passed in 2009.

This is not a pity-pat outreach, but an attempt to reconnect family ties!

Thanks for passing this message on !
